gotta say the sudden increase of "bisexual lesbian" discourse happening on twitter isn't filling me with joy.

but fuck lesbians, right. doesn't matter what we say about our own identities, doesn't matter that lesbianism has always included trans and nonbinary lesbians, doesn't matter that lesbianism explicitly excludes men.

doesn't matter that the bi lesbian discourse will cause real, physical harm to lesbians.

nvm that the label undermines decades of bisexual activism to establish themselves as a separate from gay/lesbian, as NOT being "gay lite", and never mind that if someone was saying they were a "bisexual straight" we'd go back to the gross, biphobia of the "bihet" discourse of a few years back and everyone would be so angry.
